Who we are
Skyllamas Productions LLC ("Skyllamas", "we", "us") is a video production company at 225 US Route 46, Ste. 2B, Totowa, NJ 07512. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use skyllamaspro.com, request an estimate, receive a proposal, sign an agreement or pay us online. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, company or artist name, email and phone number.
- Project details — your answers in our estimator (for example project type, scale, locations, deliverables, timing, the investment range you've set and your role in the decision), project names and messages you send us.
- Proposal, contract and billing details — legal name of the contracting party, billing address, billing email, authorized signer's name and title, purchase order number and tax-exemption certificate details.
- Electronic signature records — your typed or drawn signature, the date and time you signed, your IP address, browser information and a digital fingerprint of the document you signed, kept as proof of the agreement.
- Your account — if you create a Skyllamas account, your email address, the profile details you add (name, company, phone), your saved estimates and your marketing preference. Accounts use one-time sign-in codes sent by email; there is no password for us to store.
- Payments — payments are processed by Stripe. We receive the payment amount, status, method type and a receipt link. We never receive or store your full card or bank account numbers.
Information collected automatically
- Technical information — like most websites, our hosting provider records IP addresses, browser type and pages requested in server logs for security and reliability.
- Proposal activity — when you open, accept, sign or pay a proposal, we record the date and time of each step.
We do not currently use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
How we use it
- To prepare your estimate, respond to your inquiry and plan your production.
- To prepare, send and manage proposals and agreements, and to keep a record of what was agreed.
- To invoice you, process payments and meet tax and accounting obligations.
- To prioritize follow-up. We use your estimator answers to understand how well a project fits our services and how soon to reach out. This never produces an automated decision about you — every proposal is reviewed by a person.
- To keep our website and systems secure and to prevent fraud.
- To send you occasional news only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To comply with the law and protect our rights.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, under contracts that limit their use of it:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising.
Cookies & device storage
- Saved projects. Estimates you build are saved in your own browser (local storage) so you can return to them in My Projects. Without an account they stay on your device; you can delete them from the My Projects page or by clearing your browser data. If you're signed in, they're also saved to your account so you can open them on any device.
- Account sign-in. When you sign in, we set a secure session cookie (and a small cookie that simply notes you're signed in) for up to 30 days. Signing out removes them and clears your saved estimates from that browser.
- Payments. Stripe may set cookies on its secure payment page to process your payment and prevent fraud.
- Website administration. A security cookie is used only when our staff log in to manage the site.
Proposal links are private. Each proposal is available at a unique, hard-to-guess web address. Anyone with that link can view it, so please share it only with people authorized to see your project.
How long we keep it
- Estimates and inquiries that don't become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Signed agreements, signature records, invoices and payment records: 7 years, for tax, accounting and legal purposes.
- Accounts and saved estimates: until you delete your account (Profile → Delete account) or ask us to.
- Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe.
Your privacy rights
The New Jersey Data Privacy Act and similar laws give residents rights over their personal data. Wherever you live, we honor the following requests:
- Access — confirm whether we process your data and get a copy of it.
- Correction — fix inaccurate information.
- Deletion — delete your information, except records we must keep by law (such as signed contracts and invoices).
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format.
- Opt out — of any sale of personal data, targeted advertising or profiling (we do none of these).
- Marketing — stop marketing emails at any time.
To make a request, email info@skyllamas.com with the subject "Privacy request". We'll verify your identity and respond within 45 days. You can authorize an agent to make a request for you. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if you're not satisfied with the outcome of your appeal, you may contact the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. We also honor browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, secure payment processing through Stripe and limited staff access to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by New Jersey law.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it. Projects involving minors (for example talent in a production) are handled with a parent or guardian directly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify active clients by email.
